This painting exudes peace to me.  When I feel stressed out and need a mental reboot, I often find myself on the shore.  An hour at the beach slows down my mind and body and helps me find rest. It is even better when the beach is moody and quiet.  I tried to keep this one really textural and abstracted because I think it gives the viewer the opportunity to fill in the blanks with their mind and experiences.  I think it connects to our feelings a little bit better when the art leaves room for a little interpretation.
