Each painting in this series comes from a line of the song All Creatures of our God and King, which beautifully celebrates the earth.

When I think of water and music, I think of the beach and the rhythmic sounds of the waves.  There’s something about that kind of soothing music that gives my mind and body a reboot  and leaves me with a quiet peace. 

This is painted from a moment where I sat on the rocks watching the sun rise over the ocean.  My mind and body were in such a state of peace and rest and I was so full of joy for life.    I hope some of those feelings come through in this painting.
